Valentine’s Day 2012

2.14.2012 Tuesday
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Celebrating your love,
Doesn’t have to break you….
Well atleast your pocket$$$$ lol…
There are so many ways on how to make your lovedones feel so special.
You don’t have to take them on a fancy restaurant, or toast with an expensive wine or champagne to impress or make them feel loved. You know the cliche, IT’S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS.
Here’s what Anzu and I did to show HoneyB that he is so dear to us —- Special dinner and dessert at the comfort of our home.
*** This is from Azumi. The bear was one of her school art activities which I took home after the Open School. The cookies was designed by her.

*** Brownies from me :)

*** This is how it looked like when Honey entered the dining room…

*** Cheers!!!!

In Japan, Valentine’s day is a special day to let the man/boy know that you like him. Usually girls prepare sweets like chocolates, cakes, cookies, and give them to their boy friends and/or the boys they like. It’s like Men’s day.
***HoneyB and Anzy

How did you celebrate your Valentine’s day?

Sakura
Every year, roads and parks in Japan are filled with blossoming Cherry Blossoms but unfortunately, they only last for (more or less) 10 days… Nonetheless, its one of the beautiful seasons that everybody is looking forward to.
